A lot of todays work happens remotely from the Cloud, not only managing your server fleet but also the content production workflows are better available from the Cloud than ever. But even when you are physically present in the Studio, Production or Server room you often miss the capabilities of managing a realtime / live broadcast signal from the Cloud. These enormous signals were always "kept out of the cloud" due to the latencies and data bandwidth it would require.

The possibilities of seeing the broadcast (SDI/NDI) signals live from the Cloud in a webbrowser on every device would be limitless, however. These are some use cases you can think of:

  • Live previewing (changed) animated graphics

  • Live control enormous video files (alpha layered)

  • Make a control position for live graphics (physical), without the need for expensive broadcast equipment

  • Creating the same physical control position, but on the go (remote)

  • Checking the status of a Live Graphic in order to make new changes

  • Make sure the scheduled content is displayed correctly on a Output

As you can see, having the control over different video playback signals from a remote environment, without the setup of complicated VPN's, bandwidth reservation or separate, high latency set-up of encoders, could be very important to keep broadcast workflows efficient in todays standards.

Visual Radio Output Players

The VRA Output Players bring dynamic and broadcast-standard video playout to your Visual Radio set-up. With the introduction of Low Latency Live feeds you are able to check, control and manage your Output Players' Graphics or Media playout remotely from a webbrowser (Cloud)!
