A studio used to be either on air or off air. Recording a show for later, a podcast or a pre-recorded segment between productions meant marking the studio on air. Every condition and badge keyed to on air then treated the session as a broadcast.
Studios can now have a third state, Recording. You turn it on per studio, and the studio buttons then step through Off air, On air and Recording. Conditions in macros and outputs, status badges and the welcome dashboard all recognise the new state, so you decide what runs while you record. The AutomationLink rundown also shows album covers on every row, and hovering an artist brings up their details.
