How to set it up.

Requirements

  • A sender that can produce the documented AutomationLink JSON structure.
  • VRA Core reachable from that sender on the studio network.
  • An engineer or integrator to map your source fields and test the feed.
  1. Read the generic HTTP AutomationLink guide and prepare the current and upcoming item fields.

  2. Configure your sender to post to the generic AutomationLink address on the local Core machine.

  3. Send valid UTF-8 JSON with the documented content type.

  4. Check the received artist, title and item changes in VRA, then link them to your graphics.

Can I post any JSON to VRA? +

The feed must follow the documented AutomationLink format. Map your source fields to that structure and test item changes before using the feed on air.

Does this let VRA send webhooks to other services? +

No. This page describes your system sending radio automation data into VRA Core. It does not describe outgoing HTTP actions.

This is an incoming data feed. It does not mean that VRA can call arbitrary webhooks from a camera trigger or macro.
