Audisi GML now-playing graphics for visual radio
Audisi GML writes what is playing to its Realtime Info XML. VRA watches that file and hands its now-playing values to your visuals each time it changes.

Now playing without retyping
VRA reads the current programme information in GML's Realtime Info XML and makes those values available to the studio workflow.
Item types drive the visuals
Sort the item types your feed sends into item groups, like music, jingles or commercials, and use those groups as rundown triggers. Now-playing values reach your graphics as variables.
VRA watches one XML path
The connection asks for the exact Realtime Info XML file. Core reacts when GML changes that file, so file access and a stable path are what to check during setup.
GML decides the fields
VRA supplies no template for GML. The values that reach your graphics are the ones GML writes into its Realtime Info XML.
How to set it up.
Requirements
- GML configured to maintain a Realtime Info XML file.
- VRA Core with read access to that file path.
- A stable file share and Windows service credentials when the XML is stored on another machine.
Configure GML to generate or update its Realtime Info XML file.
Make that file available to the machine running VRA Core, using a stable local or network path.
Add a GML automation connection in VRA and enter the full path to the Realtime Info XML.
Enable the connection, advance a test item in GML and confirm that VRA reads the update.
Only attach graphics or macros after the field values and item changes have been verified.

What path does the GML connection need? +
The full path to the Realtime Info XML generated by GML. If it is on another computer, use a path and service account that VRA Core can read reliably.
Can GML send to VRA over HTTP instead of a file? +
VRA has a second connection type, GML HTTP, with its own address on Core. This page describes the file connection. Ask us which one suits your GML setup.
Does VRA write anything back to Audisi GML? +
No. VRA only reads. Your radio automation stays the source of the rundown, and VRA reacts to what it sends.
Does the Audisi GML link need the internet? +
No. Audisi GML and VRA Core talk over your studio network. VRA Cloud, where you see and control the result in the browser, does need an internet connection.
