Visual Designer: animate and brand your graphics

Animating a graphic used to mean picking a transition mode, setting fades layer by layer, or writing your own CSS and code. You could not see the timing of a whole visual in one place.

Studio Routing for Integrations

Moving a studio to another station, like a station switch during the day, could only be done by hand on the Station Link page. An integration connected through a machine user had no way to do it, and on the Station Link page a studio could be moved without a confirmation.

Camera Assist Reframing Status and One Name for Variables

When Camera Assist held back from reframing a camera, nothing told you why. An operator who took a camera by hand with the joystick couldn't see when automation would take over again without waiting for the camera to move. Variables also went by four names across the platform: visual, station, global and output variables.

Recording Studio State and Artwork in the AutomationLink Rundown

A studio used to be either on air or off air. Recording a show for later, a podcast or a pre-recorded segment between productions meant marking the studio on air. Every condition and badge keyed to on air then treated the session as a broadcast.

New: VRA Camera Assist

Camera angles have been part of VRA from the start. You stored a PTZ preset, pointed an audio trigger at it, and your switcher made the cut. What none of that did was look at the picture, so a shot that was framed right in rehearsal drifts by the second hour and somebody has to sit behind a joystick to put it back.

Exports That Finish and a Broad Stability Pass

Some rough edges had piled up. An export could stay on "Uploading" after it had finished, with no way to remove it, the studio health board stopped updating once it had loaded, and a handful of pages failed on data that had not arrived yet.
